iPod defective 6th gen nano as replacement

So I just got my 6th gen replacement nano from when I sent in my 1st gen. Too bad voice memos don't work. I am going straight to the apple store so I don't forget about it before my 90 days is up. Who knows what else does not work on this thing.

I may be wrong but according to this, the 6th gen nano doesn't have a built-in mic so my guess is that once a mic accessory is plugged-in/detected then the function becomes functional (?)

I had earbuds from my iPhone plugged in. It pulled up the voice memo app and registered my voice and even said it was saving. However, I went to the list of memos and it kept saying "No Voice Memos on this Device".

Ah I see. That's too bad. I just got my nano replacement (also a 6th gen 8GB silver) but I haven't done much with it yet as I just received it literally an hour ago.

Thats fine I shipped my box back last week, and still says they shipped me a box. Kinda taking forever for them to ship mine out. GRRRRRRRRRRR I went ahead and bought a watch for my new shiny 6 gen iPod. I orderd it one day and it came the next. Pretty sweet!!!!!

I just tried the voice memo function on my replacement nano and it seems to work fine, saves and plays back my memos. In any case, it's good that apple is at least including a 90 day warranty on these replacements.

There is no warranty on the 6th Gen replacements. Yours may show a warranty, as mine did, but it will change.

There is no warranty on the 6th Gen replacements. Yours may show a warranty, as mine did, but it will change.

The replacement nano has a 90 day warranty. Mine came with documentation saying that.
