So excited I boot up my new MBP and along the entire bottom you see gray spots - as in LED backlight issues. It looks like the kind on cheap monitors. On hold now to get a replacement.

So I just left it on charging last night. I wake up and the backlight bleeding is gone. I mean totally gone. This is so strange. Any ideas?

Be careful. Test your display in dark room at lower brightness and at full brightness. It could be a dimming issue.

Yep did that and it's totally fine now. The only thing I can think of is sometimes they're shipped out of the factory so quickly that the adhesive/glue on the panel hasn't fully dried yet.
