I recently bought a wireless mighty mouse from an authorized reseller and I've noticed since the first day that whenever I just put my finger and lightly tap the mouse (without actually clicking down) would go down a bit and make a weird noise. The noise I am describing is different then actually physically pressing down the mouse with the click sound. Also, compared to my school's wired mighty mouse it does not react like my wireless mighty mouse at all. And one more important thing, the right button on the sides seem not to be able to click at all. Is this wireless mighty mouse defective or is this considered normal?

Other people seem to be experiencing the same problem too:
