Is anyone enjoying their ATV+ subscription?

Just got on the extended trial yesterday

My wife and I honestly haven't used it since Servant ended. We'll probably watch Defending Jacob though.

Netflix, Hulu and HBO Now are the three services we use the most (wife has Disney+ but I don't use it much).

Just watched the first two episodes of “Defending Jacob” - incredible. One of their best shows yet!

Watched some of Defending Jacob. I found it just to be a typical murder/drama thriller that's easily matched by any other similar offering on another service. The plot is really by the numbers. Still, eventually they will get a hit and then the service will take off.

Also, as an aside, the Apple product placement in this show is bordering on obnoxious. I half expected Tim Cook to make a cameo at one point.

I have not used it, I like to binge-watch and with apple programs, you can't so I don't, once the free trial ends I will cancel the subscription, and continue to use Netflix.

I absolutely love For All Mankind, can’t wait for season 2. I thought See started off badly but I really enjoyed it when it got going. It didn’t really change, I just got over the absurdity of the premise (there’s no way blind people could do all that!).

Was bored by Servant, but quite liked Morning Show. Found Truth Be Told bloody irritating - than main character is just obnoxious but the programme doesn’t seem to realise it!

On the whole, I wouldn’t pay for Apple TV+ if it weren’t for For All Mankind, but I would pay for it *just* for For All Mankind! Forunately I’m on iPhone Upgrade Programme so I don’t have to.

You should check out Little America and Home Before Dark. IMO two of the best shows on TV+.

Well, you can. I agree it’s annoying but you can wait for the season to finish. I’m doing it right now with The Clone Wars and Better Call Saul; it’s not an issue unique to TV+.

I really enjoyed Beastie Boys Story. If you're even remotely a fan, I recommend it.

I've really loved my tv+ subscription so far. For all Mankind, The Morning Show , The Banker, Home Before Dark, Truth Be Told, and Visible, Out on Television have been really great. Defending Jacob is very good as well, I can't await for more episodes on that. I also wish they had more content, but if they concentrate on putting out content as what I've seen so far, it'll be worth the wait.

Anyone else think Apple have played this free year trial of Apple TV well .. one year free when you buy a new device ! So most people that had the free year signed up when the new iPhone came out. Then they didn’t release much content.
They then drip feed shows every other month. By the time the free year is done there will be about 10 shows.

Dont get me wrong I enjoyed See and Dickinson but they lack of content is underwhelming.

Jeez, you weren’t kidding! Also, what’s with the colour grading? It’s like they started teal and orange but gave up after teal! Also also what’s this guy’s job - is he a detective or a public prosecutor?

first 3 episodes o Jacob are excellent, home before dark is very good, for all mankind is very good for whole family, little america is so so, amazing stories not so bad, but with predictible endings. still I cannot get what is See, maybe wanted to be game of thrones 2, but this is very bad, mythic quest is crap

I've been on it for 3 months, I've watched 2 episodes of Amazing Stories and about 10 minutes of Mythic Quest. I have no interest in the content they have.

not really. besides the offerings that i find unappealing thus far, i hate the tv app itself. there is no separation for shows i have subscriptions to and shows i need to buy. i have showtime, hbo and prime. but shows that require payments are constantly in the forefront.

I find these type of comments really funny. Just because Apple has tons of cash it doesn't mean they can buy whatever company they want. Ask Facebook... they tried to buy Snapchat, Tiktok, etc. Apple can have lots of cash but that doesn't mean everyone is up for sale.

Apple doesnt release a lot, but most of what they put out is pretty great. Looking forward ti checking both of these out
