for anyone thinking that all snap cases are ugly plastic, or that doubts the portability of the 17" I give you...

mbp 17" on the side of a mountain...

leather is never ugly....

I'm not a cow, but I never liked leather. And as for that particular case you're using, my dad had the MacBook version of it... it feels so bad and looks ugly!! I'd never coat my MB in anything like that. No offence, just my opinion.

I understand that. I've always liked leather in jackets and cars.. and it was the first case I've seen that I could put down on a rock or the ground without ruining it. I had one of those snap on plastic jobbies and the bottom of it looked like I'd taken a cheese grater to it :D
 
The case makes your MBP look like a cheap windows pc tbh :cool:

yes, because cheap windows pcs are all covered in leather :rolleyes:

if I never left the house I'd be content to leave it in it's shiny naked aluminum glory (as it is now). Elevation hiking is another story :D
