I am running a windows partition on my mac mini through bootcamp to play some (really old) casual games...

Anyways, I used defraggler to analyze my windows partition and noticed that it was 58% fragmented  I guess I've gotten pretty used to not defragmenting once I switched over to mac :D

Anyways, I was wondering if defragmenting my windows partition would have any adverse effects on the mac partition on my HDD. Can anyone explain if/why i should or should NOT defragment windows within a bootcamp partition?

Any and all feedback would be much appreciated :)

PS: just ordered my 2011 MBP!!! :D 15" (i'm excitificated.)

Defragging in Windows does not touch the Mac half of the disc at all, neither logically or physically.
