Degaussing B&W Display

A friend of mine is offering me an old B&W-style Apple CRT display. However, he says there is a large amount of discoloration on the screen, and that the built-in degausser isn't powerful enough to correct it.

Anyone know of a place that I can get this repaired?

Try using a telephone headset (it has a magnet in it).

Start in the center of the screen with small circles and slowly make the circles bigger.

This probably wont work, but is always fun to try.
