Delay after entering passcode

After upgrading to iOS 4.0 a few days ago, I noticed that when I enter the 4th digit of my passcode, there's a delay between when i enter that digit and when I see the home screen. With 3.1.2, I never had that...it was instantaneous. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue? This also happens if I dont have anything loaded (ie when I did a fresh restore). It's about a second delay but still irritating when it goes from instant to a second or two.
