Delay for menu bar

Ever since I updated to Sierra on certain programs like VMWARE Client the menu bar seems to have more of a delay when hovering to the top of the screen. When I'm in safari and the majority of other programs in full screen the menu bar pops right up soon as my cursor hits the top of my screen. It use to be like that with WMARE Client. Does anyone have a possible solution?
