Hi,

While I love my iPhone 11 pro, facing this issue - not sure if its iOS 13 related or a hardware problem:
When answering a call, the screen goes black as usual; But when I remove it from the ear to look at the screen, it remains black for some time or till I press power button; With my earlier iPhones including iPhone XS, the moment I remove the phone from my ear, the screen turns back on.

Anyone else facing this?

I have a full screen tempered glass on; Think that is the problem - though it looks super clean to me; I had a full screen tempered glass on iPhone XS too but a different brand..

It's the protector.
I had the same issue on my Xs Max and when I changed to a different brand, one I've used before, the issue was fixed. They can cover the sensors a bit too much.

I have a full screen protector on my 11 Pro 13.1.2 and have not experienced any such issues. Using one by Tethy.

It all depends on the brand. I also only use full screen protectors and align them 99% correctly, but still, some just have slightly more black borders thus covering the sensor area just a tad bit more.

Hi, It was the screen protector; When I removed it, it worked fine; Also, it turns out, the one I had was partially covering the sensor; I now have another one with is also full screen, but it was placed correctly and proximity sensor is working fine; Guess it's a combination of the brand/quality of the screen protector and how correctly it is placed on the screen;
