Delay When Trashing Items

I have a downloads shortcut on my dock and when I trash an item from that shortcut there is a large delay and the icon of the item is still visible in the folder until I reopen the shortcut again. Is there a bug in macOS Mojave?

Think so, it is doing the same on all 4 of my Macs. All running the latest version of Mojave.
