Hello All -

Got a new series 7 and compared to my series 5, I am getting this delayed brightness when I raise to wake the watch. It starts low then gets brighter, whereas my series 5 its full brightness every time I raise to wake. I didn't know if this is a watch issue or OS issue, any suggestions for me to address this ?

I have two S7s and one S8. I've see this from time to time but it doesn't happen most of the time. I don't think about it much when it does happen but I can't say which particular watch does that, or perhaps all of them. I will try to pay more attention to watch for it. I think the light sensor has to adjust to very bright conditions sometimes. It doesn't bother me and I don't think it's a problem. Sorry I don't have more than that.

Hi - thanks for the response... it seems to do it pretty often and I would agree my S5 will adjust here and there due to brightness, but this seems to be constant, also the watch didn't fully charge overnight, I'm returning it today, I think something is up with it.

Good morning. Well it's probably a good idea to return it. My other suggestion would be to do a soft reset but you may have tried that.

I tried to get my S8 to do it early this morning and then my S7 but neither would do it now. Good luck and you might post here how it turns out.
