I really don't understand this feature

Ok, I understand what it's trying to do, but as someone who rarely unplugs my MacBook Pro, it is annoying for me.

My MBP never fully charges, so when I do ever unplug it to work away from my desk, it's not fully charged. It's running Intel and is hardly blessed with the most impressive battery to begin with, so to start off with it only being around 80% charged is a further hindrance.

Likewise, my AirPod Pros are rarely fully charged - I don't know how Apple expects to work out a pattern for them because they literally get plugged in to charge, then disconnected. By halting the charge, Apple forces me to keep them plugged in longer while I forget that it's halted.

I totally get it on the phone: it goes on charge at 11pm and comes off at 7am. Great. Hold the charge until 6.45 and finish it. But my AirPods don't work that way and my Mac doesn't work that way, and I've yet to find an easier way to disable it than "turn off until tomorrow"

Rant over. Anyone else share this frustration?
