Delayed text messages after using airplane mode

Anyone else getting this? Sometimes it takes a day for a text message to arrive after I use airplane mode. It also happens sometimes if the phone is off for a few hours.

The carrier keeps trying to get the messages to your phone, sometimes it happens instantly when the phone turns on other times it takes hours or more than a day

It's common problem, and it is your carrier not the phone.
