I got a call from a number I didn't know, so I declined it. I waited for a voicemail, and never got it (even checked to see). 30 minutes later, I get a notification that I have 1 new voicemail.

Anyone have the same problem? I'm pretty annoyed because it was a survey company doing a follow-up and I missed out on $60. I know people don't care about that really, but I could have called them back (like they asked) had I got the voicemail in time. Imagine if someone had been in an accident and needed for me to get some stuff for them or whatever.

I have gotten delayed voice mails and text messages, too. Sometimes, when I wake up and turn on the phone, leave it on for an hour or so before going to work and then get a message sent to me the night before only after I get to work; two hours or more after my phone is on and connected to the network.

To pile on, it's normal. Doesn't happen often, thankfully.

Moral of the story, pick up your phone when it rings. :D
