Having used iTunes to sync and restore numerous devices over a lot of years, I now have a bunch of apps that I no longer use or ever intend to use. I would like to delete them from the app section of iTunes, but cannot seem to find any way to do so.

Second, in trying to do that I clicked on the button to remove an app that I wanted to keep and now, somehow, all the apps that I want to keep are marked 'remove'.

Any ideas on how to correct either of these? I hate iTunes in general, but particularly v.12!

Thanks!

I haven't updated to the new iTunes. you can no longer just select apps and press delete? weird. as i haven't updated, i am also unfamiliar with apps being marked 'remove'. that sounds like a new thing. However, to delete the apps you don't want, you could do a Finder search for your Mobile Applications folder and delete the apps from there.
