Had the native Apple News App deleted form my iPhone for a while and decided to give it another try and reinstalled it on my iPhone.
Now the app is also on my Apple Watch but have no way to delete it off the Watch.
When I go into the Watch installed apps, Apple News isn’t showing up but it’s visible in Apple App Layout.

Any way to uninstall Apple News from the Watch but keep it on the iPhone?

Thanks.

Already tried hard reboot on both devices and still no option to uninstall from Watch

On the main screen of your Apple Watch, press the News app for few seconds and you will see an X. You can delete it by pressing the X.

Good luck

Thanks for your reply.
Tried that, the X doesn’t appear next tot the News icon to delete it.

Yeah you guys are right. I’ll just hide it in the layout. Out of sight, out of mind and turn off any notifications from it on the Watch.

Thanks for all the replies. Thought it was a big or something since you can delete the native app from iPhone thought I’d be able to delete just from the Watch.
All good.
