Yesterday I went to the store to exchange my Apple Watch. I unpaired my old watch and paired my new one to my iPhone, but I noticed that under the health sources, my old watch is still there. Is there a way to remove my old watch from the sources?

I read you have to erase your phone and restore it from a backup to remove your old Watch. I have not had to replace mine, so I cannot confirm.

Yeah, I read something similar in another post. If that's the case (which is odd), then I guess I'll have to wait until I get the iPhone 7 for it to go away :(

It's not that hard to do. This backs up and restore doesn't mess with your apps, logins, and settings. I just had to do it do my health all would recognize my phone as a data source. It took about 10 min.
