Dear Pros

Could someone pls give me some advice on how I could get rid of the archived (cached?, I don't really know) emails on iPhone4.

The thing is that I had a gmail account set up, and I forgot to switch the flag from 'archive' to 'delete'. Now I switched it, but a whole bunch of mails got archived, which can easily be found up simply by using the Search: iPhone. If someone types a letter that is the first letter of a sender in my archived mails it pops up the list of emails.

I deleted the All Mail folder, the Trash, I even deleted the Account itself, but the messages remain in the iPhone searchable.

Please if anyone has a clue...HELP!
Thx

G'ito
