delete button

Hello, I just received my 13" macbook today (yay).
However, what's the command for the delete button?
I tried googling it, but the only result (fn+backspace), didn't work.
I don't know if it makes a difference, but I'm using a Danish keyboard.

Annoyingly, that doesn't work in BookSmart
But thank you, it seems to work everywhere else.

fn-backspace doesn't work...?

That is functioning as forward delete in all apps I've tried it in. Sure it's not a BookSmart (whatever that is) issue?

I'm using Norwegian keyboard on my (old) MacBook.
