Hi,
When I delete a message from my inbox, the email goes to my Trash folder in Mac Mail as well as to Trash in Gmail's web interface. It does not get archived in "All Mail" which is what I want.
However, when I manually delete a message in my trash folder in Mac Mail, it will disappear from my trash folder. Yet, it is still visible in Trash in Gmail's web interface. Is it possible to erase my deleted emails permanently on my Mac, and they be deleted from Gmail's web interface as well?
This works right with my iPhone. For instance, on my iPhone I can go to the trash folder and delete a message, and it will be gone from all my devices including the web interface for gmail.
Has anyone got this to work for mac mail using Yosemite?
