I am in a really bad situation now. I need to know how to successfully delete an extended partition and keep all of the logicals contained and then convert 2 of those logical volumes to primary so I can boot them. One is NTFS Bootcamp Win2kr2, and the other is Macintosh HD, HFS+. Some mistake happened and an extended volume was created and took my bootcamp and macintosh Hd hostage and placed them as logical drives inside the extended. I now have an external HD with Mavericks 10.9.2 installed and I can boot from that, but the only tools for my problem are windows-only. Why do the Devs create the best no data loss conversion tools for windows and not for mac? I have a ubuntu stick and use that, along with my OSX external hd. Help please I need to know the answer! if you succeed then I will have my Mac mini 2.3 ghz or 2.6 ghz core i7 running perfectly. Anybody that gives help is very thanked.
