Hello guys!
I don’t normally post but I’ve hit a brick wall with this issue and I feel like y’all might be able to give me a quicker answer than apple.
I have an issue with Focus Filters taking over my mail app. I was part of iOS16 Beta so I passed it off as a bug but now that the public release is out, i find myself struggling still.
I am currently running iOS 16.0 (20A362) on an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I can’t get rid of the Focus Filter in the Mail App. The solution sounds simple, go into Settings > Focus > select focus and delete the focus filter from there but it won’t work. I’ve gone as far as to delete every focus except “Do Not Disturb” (since it can’t be deleted) and made sure that there are no focus filters there but still, the issue remains.
I’ve also tried to delete the mail app and re-install it, tried turning my phone off and on again. Normally, the issue wouldn’t bother me if it weren’t for the fact that the focus filter turns on by itself and I find myself missing important emails.
I’ve attached an image and highlighted in red where the focus filter appears in the mail app just below the search bar. Any help to remove this greatly appreciated.
For reference, I will include a link to the focus filter I’m referring to here.
