Delete Googlemail Mailbox in Mail.app

Mail.app stopped working properly yesterday so i deleted my account and put it in again but now under the On My Mac mailboxes there is a Googlemail section that wasnt there before which I cant delete. So now whenever I get an email it pops up in the googlemail section's inbox and the Inbox at the top under Mailboxes. How do I stop this?
