Delete Key & Contacts Shortcut Keys Not Working

All of a sudden when I try to delete any characters when typing in an email, the delete key is unresponsive. Also when I try to hit any of the shortcut characters on the right side of the contacts screen, nothing happens. Also trying to hit the new sms text button on the top right of the sms screen, nothing. Tried to restore and still no luck.

Any advice or is it another trip to the A-Store?
