Eh, its not uncommon for designers to change certain aspects of product images to conform to their own aesthetic, and it can sometimes be misleading.

Don't you remember the hand-model change for the first iPhone back in 2007?

They had an iPhone ad where the phone looked pretty big and then, suddenly, in new ads it looked much smaller!
