I was under the impression that the US promotion has been over for almost a month now (figuring you are in the US). And I am not sure about any other promotions.

Yes, the iPod promotion is over in the U.S. Oct 15 is the last day to SUBMIT a claim, but Sept 13th or so was the last day to actually buy.

The US edu store free iPod promo ended 15 September, not 15 October.

Edit: Looks like a lot of us wrote this simultaneously.
