I'm trying to free up some space on my mac and I'm using Omni Disc Sweeper and I came across a few folders from old Adobe programs. There are Support folders in my library folder from CS3 and CS4 and I am currently running CS5. My question, does CS5 still use files in those folders or can i delete them?

They're likely left over from an earlier installation that you removed. Uninstalling apps usually leaves things behind. The only effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:
