We are on the same Verizon family plan. My question is, when I delete the data and reset my old phone, should I delete the esim or not delete the esim?

You don’t delete it when just erasing it and restoring it for your own use. I do this all the time with our work iPads. Deleting the eSIM means it needs to be activated again as it causes them to lose their cell data. Reactions: JimMMac
