Delete songs directly from iphone?

I know this isn't possible currently, but since you are able to delete an app from the iphone is there any chance of this becoming an option in the future?

Anything's possible. I just use one star ratings to indicate songs that I want to delete. Then delete them manually in iTunes.

sure its possible in the future. You can delete podcasts and videos now.
