I've noticed some discussions out there that mention that the software renders the dock instead of using image files like past OS's. Since upgrading this past week I've searched tirelessly for a way to delete it as Mirage will no longer work. Has anyone found a way to delete it or at least make it invisible?

Just auto hide the dock in the preferences. No way to delete it.

Not really a solution plus I don't like hiding the dock. I like being able to just click on an app or dragging stuff into the trash without having to wait for it to pop back up. I know it sounds dumb but I'm sure something has/will come along to fix the problem.
