Deleted garageband.app

So i deleted garageband.app thats all nothing else. can anybody tell me where i can get it? i cant find ilife 09. and all i need is the app not the loops and stuff.

try downloading the GarageBand 5.1 update from Apple.com/downloads and open the update package with Pacifist and install just GarageBand.app

What is pacifist? is it another app? what does it do?

yeh Pacifist is an app, download it and open up the GB update package with it. and just install Garage Band.app and nothing else. dont install the whole thing or just noramally open and install the update.

usually Apple packages the whole application package so it should work unless it only updates the app package, then it wont work and youll need your iLife DVD and install it the same way as with Pacifist.
