Deleted Iphone Cam Pics still show in memory..

Hi,

I'm new to the forum....

I've recently purchased a jailbroken Iphone 16 GB as here in the UAE its not launched yet... I had taken some pictures ( total size 3GB) using the iphone camera and after transferring them to my comp i deleted them from the Camera Roll... the problem is .. though the camera roll shows that there are no pics.. when i check the memory used it still shows the space available less the 3GB that was used for the pics..has anyone faced this problem before..what should i do??.. and what is the difference between a system and a springboard theme??
