Did you check the trash can...?

If you have you itunes library synced with your ipod, you can pull everything off your iPod. Don't remember exactly how, but google 'how to get songs off your ipod' or something along those lines. It will allow you to get purchased, and non-purchased songs, but in order to play the purchased songs you might have to authorize your computer again.

Other than that I have no idea, but I'm sure there are people who do

Hi!

One of the programs to get the content off your iPod is called Senuti, which you can get here.

If you only had your songs on your hard disk, you can try to restore them with a restore utility, like Data Rescue II. It's 99$, but a demo is available. You can get it here.

Hope this was helpful.
