Hey there, i'm really stuck here. So i deleted a file called lockdownd from my iphone by mistake and now my iphone is stuck on the boot logo and a looping spinner, anybody please help :( :(

Thing is the device can't be read by my pc (its an iphone 3g by the way) and when i enter DFU mode, the computer detects the Apple USB controller thingy but still itunes can't detect it, redsn0w gave me a 'USB connection problem' when i tried to access it, so is there any other way i can reset my phone,, thanks for the suggestion though

Nope, that iPhone is useless without being restored somehow. Have you tried other computers and other USB cables?

I've tried it on 2 computers but with the same cable though the cable's not given me any problems really, same prob,,, any idea about how critical the file is though??

oh gosh,,, fine i'll try to change cables and see if it works, thanks eh
