i deleted my Facebook account permenantly around 2 weeks ago but didn’t receive any email stating this, and I keep recieveing emails from Facebook every day about people who I may be friends with, why am I still getting these emails when I have permenantly deleted my account?

They will continue spamming you.....my guess, for another couple of months until one day they finally stop.
That's evil Facebook....
Thanks for your reply, Would I have received an email stating my account was deactivated if my account would have successfully deactivated? Because I never got any email from them

Do not log in.
Under any circumstances.

It takes around 90 days to clear the system.

It does work… but they never ever give up trying to entice you back.

Good luck!

Nope.
Thanks for help, will they continue to email me in like a year after deletion? Thanks

You could create a rule in the mail app to delete these problem emails, that way you'll never see them.

It probably would have been best to make sure all notifications were disabled, and any other settings/data that could reset or cleared were reset or cleared prior do deleting the account and leaving for good. That said, Facebook should really do that themselves when someone decides to take that kind of an action, although they likely don't do that right away in case someone changes their mind, so there's likely a time period involved there in relation to that (and perhaps some other policies).

Add rules.......oops, I guess those new commercial are total lies!
Congratulations on jumping off!

I deleted my account a few weeks ago and then accidentally logged in when going to a link that ... asked me to log into my FB account. Of course, one accidental click and ... BAM all back to normal. So I deleted again... Going to be a long 90 days. Don't miss it at all - minus getting local news from our small town. One of my family members already called me a tinfoil hat wearer (doesn't bother me). I know I'm missing pics of my sister's kids... but oh well, more incentive to visit in person.

I just accidentally clicked on one of the links I got in an email, it didn’t log me in thought so is my account probably still deactivated? Thanks

At this point your best bet might be to log back in, turn off all the notifications that you can, remove or reset anything else that you might be able to, and make sure to disable your account (again). Hopefully you won't be getting much from them after than and can have it all deleted for good after a period of time.

Did you just deactivate your account or did you go through a long boring process of deleting all your information first? Just curious.

Best choice ever in deleting your profile! They will try to entice you for a bit, I think I finally stopped receiving emails from them after a month and a half, or I pushed it to spam mail...I forget lol.

Go into your browser settings and delete the password for facebook, so you don't log in by accident.
