This has been driving me nuts for a good long while. Over a year ago I deleted a note (where that note was originally stored, iCloud or Gmail, I'm not entirely sure). But that note still shows up all the time in Spotlight, and even multiple times. I can't seem to get rid of it. And of course, opening it opens the notes app which doesn't tell you where the file is stored or give an option to permanently delete it.

How can I get rid of this stupid ghost note!

You could try rebuilding the Spotlight database.

In System Preferences, choose Spotlight. Then click the Privacy tab. Drag your hard drive into the window, then remove it using the - sign, and it will re-index your drive.
