iPod Deleted songs from iPod

Hello guys have a quick question that I hope you guys can answer. I'm getting rid of songs from my ipod. I selected the songs and delete them. Where do the songs go? They do not go in the trash when I look. Are they really gone or in some file now. Just don't want those songs taking up space in a folder. Also I don't know what I did but on my ipod I somehow seperated two songs from an album and now when I go to albums there is two listings for the album with one of them having the two songs and the other having all the others. How the heck do I move the two songs to the rest with my macbook. Thanks a lot guys.

Once deleted from an iPod, the song is gone for good. If you have no local version of the song file on your computer, you'll have to acquire it again.

Anyone know how I move those two single songs back with the rest of the album????

Select all the songs you want to be listed in a single album, press COMMAND-I and enter the correct Album name where applicable.
