OS 10.10.3
Mail 8.2
Gmail (IMAP)
I’m getting spam that appears to be from my own e-mail address. I’m assuming it’s spoofed. It’s arriving in my spam folder, but when I delete it from there it’s going to my sent folder rather than the trash.
I don’t know whether this behaviour is down to Google or Mail, or possibly connected in some way to the discoveryd issues I began experiencing a month ago when I updated to 10.10.3.
The reason I bring up the latter is because after updating to 10.10.3 I found Mail began responding far more slowly and a bit less consistently than under 10.10.2. It might be the update itself, but it could also be the discoveryd issues that began at the same time.
I regularly find moving an e-mail either doesn’t move it or does so a minute or so after I perform the action. For example:
Anyway, that may be an entirely different issue/can of worms.
If anyone can shed any light on any piece of the puzzle I’d be grateful.

I regularly find moving an e-mail either doesn’t move it or does so a minute or so after I perform the action. For example:
- I move an e-mail from my inbox to my ‘keep’ folder — it appears to move
- I go to my ‘keep’ folder and find the e-mail isn’t there
- I go back to my inbox and find the e-mail is back/still there
- If I wait a minute, it finally move successfully
Anyway, that may be an entirely different issue/can of worms.
