when I go to reinstall it I get this message:

his may be because you are running a previous version of Suitcase Fusion. Please be sure you are running the newest version of Suitcase Fusion installed on your computer. Suitcase Fusion will now close.

Please help as I need this to work for work.

There are probably some Suitcase system files that reside outside the Application folder (like in a System or Library folder) that the Suitcase installer is finding and interpreting this to mean that you still have Suitcase installed. Sometimes just deleting an app isn't enough to truly and completely get rid of it. You need to do a search for these wayward Suitcase files and delete them. There may be a FAQ on this on the Suitcase website.

As an aside, (and this doesn't help with reinstalling Suitcase,) but I have wrestled with Suitcase before and ended up uninstalling it, just because I found it to be a bear to use effectively. In my experience Font Explorer X is a heck of a lot easier to work with, and it's free. Just my .02.
