I bought a Milwaukee combo drill set a couple weeks ago but I had two problems.
#1 They were really heavy.
#2 Both tools smelled like mint cigars.
I just returned my Milwaukee impact combo set for this ridgid set.
The ridgid set is much lighter and doesn't have a weird smell.
It also has LSA (lifetime service agreement) so you get free batteries when the originals die as long as you register.
I checked out the makitas but they had less power and didn't have a battery status indicator.
Why does Dewalt get so much hate?, their new brushless lithium's seem great.

The problem I have with menards is that they don't allow ratings on their website for products.
It's like their trying to hide something.
At least home depot shows ratings plus verified purchasers.
I use Dewalt and Hilti for my power tools. You can't really go wrong these days as long as they have li-on batteries.
Indeed I love Hikti too, very good quality and very durable. I got a good discount with my old job and bought 2 18v cordless hammer drills. I sit behind a desk now so they only really get used for DIY these days.I'm surprised nobody else said Hilti. They're my favorite for power tools, especially drills. Every construction site I've been on is flooded with Hilti stuff.
