deleting a single text message?

you can only clear out the whole message...

There might be some hack program that can do that but I'm not into that....

I don't know if this is any help to you but you could use a program like Syphone which will back up all your text messages onto your computer. Haven't really used it much yet but seems to work ok. Currently in Beta

Yes...SMS-D deletes single SMS messages....I use it and it works perfectly...
