Is there an easy and safe way to remove/delete completely an Admin Account in Mac OSX 10.5.6.?

(I tried as root to remove the home directory of the admin I wanted off the computer but at log in his name is still there??)

Right, any admin should be able to delete any other admin -- you may have to erase empty space on the hard drive after you empty trash, though, just to be on the safe side....

Are you on 10.5.6? My problem is that I can easily delete the file contents of the unwanted admin account but the login possibility reappears at start up.

Just because you took away their home folder doesn't mean you nuked the account. Use either the root account or another admin account and delete from System Preferences.
