Hi
I have so many duplicates in my Address Book many with different names etc that I have exported them to excel and sorted through them. I had planned to delete the old Address Book contacts and import the sorted list.

But how do I delete all contacts in Address Book?

Thanks

Donald

Open Address Book. Under "Group", select "All Contacts". From there, click on the name of any contact, and it should turn blue.

Now press Command-A (select all), and all your contacts should be selected (blue). Now press either Delete, or Command-Backspace. A confirmation window will pop up asking if you are sure you want to delete all your contacts. If you are, press Delete.

Just make sure you make a backup before you do this!
