Somewhere over the rainbow
I've spent a week playing with a friend's iPhone, and am ready to give it back and show her how to use it. I need to remove all my info, contacts etc. Since the phone was purchased in Asia and I'm using it with my SIM in Norway, it's obviously hacked in some way. I don't know much about the iPhone and all the hacks (haven't really been following along since they're not available here), but I know it's important not to update a hacked phone.

So finally, the question - is it okay to use the " erase all content and settings" in the Settings - General - Reset menu? This will just get rid of all the data I synched, and not force her to update anything or make any other problems for her when she synchs with her own Mac, right?

Thanks in advance. :)
