So, presently we hard push down on the phone screen in order to get app icons to wiggle. They present us with the little x in the corner, of each removable App, which we tap to remove the App from the phone.

Hard pushing on the the 6s and 6s+ will 'activate' 3d push, or force touch, won't it? So how will we remove unwanted Apps on the new phones? Or am I misreading this altogether?

If 3D Touch behaves like Force Touch on MBP, you'll delete apps as normal.

The display/whatever should be able to detect if you tapped it or pressed it. Based on the demonstration, tap and hold brought up the preview in the apps they showed.

Exactly as these guys said. Long press and hard press are going to co-exist.

Peak and Pop are what they call the two levels of 3D Touch. Peak into an app or content to quickly check without launching the app. Pop into the actual content from the Peak if it is something you need to act on.

I get that. I was just being funny, or trying to.

BTW, wouldn't it be "peek"?

you don't hard press to delete apps currently, you long press. That won't change with the 6s 6s+
