New Mac user (13"rMBP late2013)..and I want to delete some Apps..including iBooks.
Do I just drag them to the Trash ( or use 2 finger tap to get the context menu then send to trash )..will that get rid of the whole thing or does it need a separate uninstall as Windows software does?

Probably a dumb question but have searched and not found the answer and don't want to leave bits and pieces of software hanging around.
Thanks:)

drag to trash, or delete like you are doing works.

*shouldn't* be anything else left.. sometimes there is though.
there are commercial/free apps that will "clean up" stuff that may be left, not really needed though.
Appcleaner/appzapper etc. (I haven't used one in ages so I'm not even sure which ones work best)

Apple Apps I don't think you can delete..

Many "app cleaner" apps leave stuff behind.

This is the best way to completely delete an app.
