And after some searching, I completely reinstalled my mac with succes. Here's what I concluded , maybe for other people with this problem ; - Yes you can delete the CoreStorage (logical) Volume Group - And, yes, you can re-enable the fusion drive. (CoreStorage (logical) Volume Group) - Not possible when running OS X, you need to make a separate Recovery USB to load the recovery mode (This is deleted when you delete the all the CoreStorage) - Simple walktrough on how to delete CoreStorage (split the Fusion Drive from the normal HDD) http://macs.about.com/od/diyguidesprojects/ss/Split-Your-Fusion-Drive-Apart.htm - Re-enable the Fusion Drive http://macs.about.com/od/diyguidesprojects/ss/Setting-Up-A-Fusion-Drive-On-Your-Current-Mac.htm Last edited: Apr 29, 2015
