Hello,
Im kinda new to this whole mac thing and so far its been great!
right now i've been having a problem with dreamweaver CS4.
i installed dreamweaver CS4 and entered a legit beta cd-key, when the program tried to open, a window appeared and told me "Your license has expired". so then i uninstalled dreamweaver and spotlighted and deleted all the remaining dreamweaver affiliated files.

Then i Reinstalled dreamweaver and selected the 30-day trial option, when i tried to run the program again the same message appeared "Your license has expired". so i know i need to delete some kind of registry file or stray file, but i just dont know where to look
can anyone advice me? i need to use dreamweaver bad for a final project on school and its due thursday!

Thanks in advance =)
sorry for the bad grammar but english is my second lenguage

Could it be your connected to the internet. Doesn't adobe when the app is loading connect to there servers and make sure the copy is valid. Since its a beta copy they prob disabled that version. Your prob going to have to buy dreamweaver...
did you make sure you deleted the .plist files?

i remember when i had the beta versions of cs3, for some strange reason i got the same error. I used littlesnitch to stop them from accesing the internet and they worked fine. Anyway, i bought cs4 now :)

Sounds like you got a Generated Key off the internet. Did you download legit trial version? If not, then why not? A 30 day trial is a 30 day trial. they key may have been used already, and is no longer legit. You might want to download a legit copy.

How to uninstall properly so you can re-install

To uninstall your trial version, close any open Adobe software on your computer and do the following:

In Windows, open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs. Select the product that you want to uninstall, click Change/Remove, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
In Mac OS, double-click the product installer in Applications\Utilities\Adobe Installers. Authenticate as an administrator, select Uninstall Components, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

guys! I have the same problem too!
DW said the license is expired and samething appeared when I delete DW and reinstalled it. even though it said the SN is correct during the installation. I just can't open DW anymore

You all need to deactivate an Adobe product before you uninstall it, or to change your key and activation. If your trial or beta is expired, this may be a bit of a hassle, but you can still do it. Adobe instructions page

Hi guys,
This is my first message to the forum and actually i just registered to solve your problem about this situation.
Anyway.
This is really easy and illegal way to fix the problem.

Now here we go... :)
Here is just one step. Just set your computers date to 2 or 3 years back i mean set it to 2005 (lets make it safe) and then open your software (dreamweaver, photoshop, etc.).

So now what you see? :)
No need to thanks and sorry for my poor english.

Take care guys.

There is a tool on the Adobe website that supposedly will fix this problem. I had this issue a few weeks ago and tech support had me download that script. The tool did NOT work for me, but it may for you. In the end I had to uninstall and delete the Adobe folder from library/application support, and start all over.

Deleting Dw

The problem is that i didn't deactivated Dw, i've uninstalled the software before i deactivate. How can i remove it permently?

The instructions above work...

I have been trying to upgrade from a beta version to a full version of DCS4 and kept getting the license error message even after entering my new s/n. I installed, uninstalled, ran the Adobe Terminal script all to no avail.

The post above worked perfectly - set the clock back a year, deactivate and relaunch. You'll get the s/n page to enter the new code.

IT WORKED o_O

Whaaaat WHAAAAAAT WHAAATTT

foxyturkey... really i would kiss you right now if i saw you. you foxyturkey you. I just wasted half my life trying to uninstall photoshop cs4, fell into depression, got addicted to crack. your solution is so simple, but ten thousand pages on the internet don't have it!
