Have a 1TB External Drive with two partitions (700GB for Storage, 300GB for Time Machine) that I've had connected directly to my Macbook for a few months.
Decided to make the switch to using it as an Airport Disk so I can roam about the house with access to my files, but i've run into a snag.
Plugged the External Drive into my AEBS, I saw it in Finder as a Shared Folder, but it wasn't mounting. Dragged the drive to Devices and now it Mounts as soon as I click on the drive in Finder (would prefer it automatically do it, but no biggie)
So I then connected Time Machine back up to its now wireless location and it told me I didn't have enough space, no biggie, I didn't need the old backups anyway. So as soon as I start to delete any files, it tabulates the total of files to backup, then starts deleting. Almost immediately, all devices connected to the AEBS looks connectivity, the router seems to reboot. Ok, maybe too many files. Tried a small directory, same thing.
Any ideas?
